Last tuesday (15), INCITI celebrated two years of existence along with the launch of its newest project: Urban Thinkers Campus (UTC) Recife, an ONU-Habitat event, that takes place from the 24th to the 27th of November, in the historic neighborhood of Bairro do Recife. INCITI is a research group linked to the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), and UTC Recife is it’s third project, also developing the Parque Capibaribe Park and LabCEUS projects. At the party – that took place in INCITI’s headquarters at Rua do Bom Jesus, in the heart of Recife – we welcomed friendly faces that worked alongside our team during these two years and also new members that are embarking with us in our UTC Recife journey. They had the opportunity to experience the new exhibition we set up at the building’s ground floor, focused on urban issues and INCITI’s universe. And also, they had the opportunity to get to know more about UTC Recife, which is currently searching for partnerships with stakeholders, initiatives and citizens.
We would like to give a special “thank you” to our newest partners, responsible for the delicious food and drinks at the event: chef Dona Carmem Virgínia from the restaurant ALTAR – Cozinha Ancestral and Cachaçaria Carvalheira.
